Administrator for Habilitation Center Söderstaden for Children
The Habilitation Center Söderstaden is a unit within Habilitation & Health, a service within Region Stockholm with special expertise in disabilities.
The unit specializes in intellectual disabilities, movement disabilities, and diagnoses within the autism spectrum. We create conditions for patients to function in the best way possible in their daily lives.
We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, and special educators. We meet with patients both individually and in groups. Patients live in the districts of Farsta, Skarpnäck, Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, as well as the municipalities of Nacka and Värmdö. We work to develop abilities and strategies for patients and their networks to manage disabilities in everyday life.
At Habilitation Center Söderstaden, about 40 employees work in fresh and spacious premises, close to tram, buses, and subway.
About the Position
As an administrator with us, you are the patients' first contact with the unit and our face to the outside world. You will support providers in the care process with the inflow and outflow of patients. This includes referral management, appointment scheduling, journal management in TakeCare, service via our expedition phone, 1177, and email. Furthermore, the work includes personnel/schedule administration, mail handling, orders, and purchases, as well as some local issues. You will work closely with the unit managers and need to function as administrative support. You will be part of a close collaboration with a fellow administrator where you share tasks in certain areas and have more responsibility for other areas.
Our patients often have complex needs where collaboration is required, not only within the team but also with neighboring care providers, municipal services, and other authorities. The tasks are varied and place high demands on flexibility. You also need to be proactive and meticulous.
Qualifications:
- You should have several years of experience in independent administrative work within healthcare.
- You should have good computer and phone skills.
- You should speak and write fluently in Swedish.
- You need to have very good communication skills as you will meet individuals with reduced intellectual, cognitive, and/or communicative abilities.
- You are often the first contact with our unit, which requires a professional approach, flexibility, and service ability.
We are looking for someone who can work both independently and collaboratively with others. You are proactive, interested in development, and engaged in finding solutions focused on the patient.
As it is a varied job with several tasks running simultaneously, you need to be structured, have good planning and prioritization skills, the capacity to manage several parallel processes at the same time, and be able to shift focus easily between different tasks.
Experience with TakeCare, Heroma, 1177, TeleQ, Clockwork, Raindance, and Alltid Öppet is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
With us, you will receive:
- Competent and friendly colleagues in both your own and other professions.
- Flexible working hours.
- Free healthcare.
- A generous wellness allowance and wellness during working hours.
